For our new readers (fiberglass followers excuse us), a gunite swimming pool is comprised of a steel reinforced frame with yards upon yards of concrete material known as gunite. They are very expensive and costly to build. Not just that, but they are prone to cracking and very rigid and susceptible to soil movements.

Our fiberglass shells, on the other hand are membranes with an average thickess of 3/8″ to 3/4″. This may not sound like a lot, but that’s because we use a totally different design and engineering standards. Our shells act as a membrane that separates the earth from the water. They are comprised of layers upon layers of fiberglass, proprietary vinyl Esther resin & additional reinforcement materials. Secondly, they are manufactured in an production facility and inspected before they ever leave the facility to your home. It’s an incredible task and one that we are very proud of!
