Meet the Atlantic Pool Model, where fun meets functionality. Not every pool has to have all of the bells and whistles, i.e: waterfalls, bars, attached spas or deep end seating. Sometimes the creativity of a swimming pool is found in the simplicity of its design. This is certainly the case for the Atlantic Pool Model.
Centered Around Functionality
We like to think that swimming is a recreational sport that should be enjoyed by all people of all ages and athletic ability.
In order to compensate all types of swimmers and age groups, you must have a design that supports all types of recreational aptitudes. The Atlantic pool model provides all of the necessary attributes of a gorgeous layout with simplistic characteristics. It can be paired with game accessories or left alone for a serene oasis to cool off in the blazing summer heat.
Inspecting the Shape
A curved shallow step allows for easy entry and exit. We suggest adding on a safety handrail to keep the swimmer safe from slick surfaces. This step also operates as a ergonomic seat and is perfect for gathering and conversing with guests.
The length of this pool, is a respectful distance of 32′ which is excellent for lap swimming. Comparatively, the width of 14′ 6″ is a perfect width to install a deck-mounted volleyball or basketball set.
Lastly, the shape is full of curves. This adds to the allure to its design and is sure to wow guest by its gorgeous layout. For more gorgeous pool designs, we invite you to visit our Pool Gallery for additional ideas and inspiration.
Economically Priced and Easy to Maintain
We understand that selecting a pool that supports the budget as well as the monthly electric bill is important. It’s important to us that we educate all of our customers because we believe its important to educate yourself prior to making a large purchase, such as buying a pool. This is one of the way that we are unique and care about each of our customers!
The Atlantic pool is economically sized with a total water volume of 10,400 Gallons. This metric may be a little fuzzy in terms of importance but don’t worry. We have provided some insight below to illustrate how this saves you money.
Calculating Your Cost Savings
A typical concrete swimming pool ranges between 20,000 to 30,000 gallons. This amount of pool volume requires a variable-speed pool pump to run between 41.6 GPM (gallons per minute) – 62.5 GPM. In terms of power output required to filter a larger concrete pool, your pool pump will run at an average of 70%-90% of its RPM capacity.
Compare this to the Atlantic pool model, which only requires 21.8 GPM, and your variable-speed pump is now running between 50%-60% of its RPM capacity. You just saved yourself several hundred dollars a year on electricity cost to run a swimming pool.
